Default Pelican case

Hey Todd, or anyone else that has installed the pelican case: The case was one of the first things that I did to my new bike thanks to the great pictures and install instructions from Todd. And allows me to haul my hat, gloves glasses and the 2 gas bottles that hopefully will get me out of the woods (not the mud) someday. I was wondering if anyone has had a problem or have noticed that the case turns slightly after a few miles? Mine is pivoting on the front single clamp, and I am now trying to figure out how to stop this from happening. And yes it's the obsessive compulsiveness rearing it's ugly head, and yes I know they have doctors and medication for that.

I have not noticed that particular problem with mine. Can you tighten your Adel clamps any further but adding washers below the clevis pins? Are your Adel clamps positioned at a 45 degree angle on the curves of the rear rack or aligned with either the sides or back? Mine are on the angles.

Yes my back clamps are at a 45, but the front one seems to slip, but I just thought of something. Since I don't plan on taking it on and off, I may replace the front pin with a bolt, then I could really snug it up.

Or as a compromise will a wing-nut work? You should be able to cinche it up pretty good with your fingers and not need tools if/when you ever do want to take it off.
