Ordered my 13 tooth sprocket. Is it Right

nah, it's not that hard after you learn to take it off. remember, it's threaded backwards and when you put your socket and rachet on, one very quick snap will break it loose. you cannot muscle it off, it takes a quick jerk to break it loose. trust me on this.

Mine wasn't, and I've never heard anyone else mention it. I'm sure if that's the case, lots of people would have said something.

My dealer cross referenced a Kimpex #101006, which the packaging says is equivalent to the Sunstar #34113, and it works fine for me. Don't know what the difference between the 34213 and 34113 parts are, though.
About your comment " ... just in case I want to throw it on.", I don't think "throw it on" is a good choice of words -- that nut is a real pain to get off!
I'm not sure who said it, but I think one of the steps in the official procedure involves making comments about its mother. (If I recall correctly, I belive this step is repeated, too.)
So rather than casually thinking some afternoon that "I want to throw it on", it might be better to take a "This means war!" attitude. (You can thank me later.)

Well I picked it up the other day. Is it right, I dont know yet But i will say it has the rasied edge others have mentioned and it has a 13 tooth spline shaft hole. So I'm hopefull. As far as just Throwing it on, Well I have a air compressor but I dont have a Impact gun Yet. Guess it's as good a reason as any other to get one.

The dealer told me me it WAS reverse threads. I remember them saying this and wrote it down in my notes. I dont have the 13 tooth yet but will be doing this soon. Is it or is it not reverse threads? Thanks.

Mine is a regular right-hand thread - i.e.: it loosens by turning counter-clockwise. (Maybe MaverickAus has to turn his the other way, being in the Southern Hemisphere and all ...
)
Just to double check the thread before I strained something, there was about one and a half threads visible past the nut on the end of the countershaft ... so I could see that it was a regular right-hand thread. If you have any threads that are visible, you'll be able to check for yourself.
BTW -Don't forget to unbend the retaining washer, first! It's tough enough loosening it by itself ... trying to loosen the sprocket nut while leaving the washer bent would be impossible!!! (Hey, wait a minute! That's the whole point of the washer!!! [sm=drooldude.gif])
Mike
P.S. - I got a 17" breaker bar to undo mine, and my wife helped by standing on the rear break. Others put something through the rear sprocket to block the wheel from turning. Hope that helps!
