Most expensive option I found Hi low beam option
Not sure what this one does
It’s only $424!! But only draws 80 Watts 4900 lumens

i use a cyclops LED in mine. pretty bright high beam pattern is okay, low beam sucks.

If i wanted a headlight for actual night riding not just daytime visibility, i would retrofit a HID projector into it. WAY cheaper than what your lookiing at and much better proformance.

I'm looking at this H4 LED as a plug and play option. I've asked the maker if it's the right lamp for the 09 KLX250s, but they don't seem to answer emails too promptly. Any experience with this? The only spec they suggest is "make sure your housing has 2" clearance for the fan"...ummm, thanks?

Feed back appreciated.

One thing about those led lights, they always seem to have large heat sink attached. The little cube ones weight is deceiving , they are heavier than they look.

Well I bought that one I linked to, and aside from supposedly fittng in the stock socket (which I just said three times, quickly) housing I am only concerned about the oddly vague “2 inches of clearance”” required inside the housing.

I’ll update after the R&R.

Has anyone had any luck swapping out the stock headlight with a baja designs Squadron kit https://www.bajadesigns.com/products...-sport-kit.asp or the like? Just the light assembly part, not the full plastic mounting etc. Any chance it will fit as is with the stock mount with some modification?

I bet I bet this would be the best way to use 40w out of any light kit available.
Doing a headlight set up in a ttr230, this kit exceeds the lighting coils output by 5w n will run the battery flat. So a $175. 110w output rewind is in order first. Bike wasn't offered with a headlight tho wth
but on the klx it would rock, as the '09 easily pulled the 2 55w halogens I had

Too flat.... the stock unit has the crease in the middle. Could do it recessed
