What comes first the 13 tooth sprocket, or the pink and rainbow color scheme? [sm=innoc.gif]

ya gotta get a big gun exhaust for it!!!
well, I was kind of thinkin' 2-bros. or FMF to change it up a little. Edit: NOT!!
Eric- the frame is the same so I'm hopin the old stuff bolts right on. We'll see I guess. First order of business is to rip the emissions stuff off immediately. Then the 13-tooth sprocket, air-filter, etc.

Another change on the '09 is not only the routing of the brake line down low by the all new caliper, but also up high as it is no longer in your way of the key and gauges; it also allows a clear shot for a crossbar pad.

I like the digital instrument cluster, but it contains no new features that the old one already includes. But that 09 KLX is SHARP. Until that is, you get it dirty.

I think if you look closer or read a little more you'll see the new cluster has twin trip meters as well as a digital clock. The latter being very important when you aren't used to having one. When I sold my '06 KLX and bought the DRZSM, it came pretty much with the same type of digital cluster sans the tach. But it did have a digital clock and it was a nice addition to the old analog with no digital clock I was used to on the KLX. Twin trip meters is nice too as one you can use to monitor your gas capacity and the other you can use for trail miles or any other mileage measurement you need.

I'm still not too fond of that front fender from some angles. But if you look at alot of the newer bikes, they're progressing to this radical look. I'm a fan of the old KLX fender, the old school looking MX type of the 90's. It just looks rugged and screams tall suspension travel. I know some of you know what I'm talking about.

here's a shot from the brochure. it's a little grainy but it is a pic of a pic. I'll post a couple more shots from the brochure in a bit.

Some of these slick 09 parts are going to find their way onto my 07 but not the front fender.

Didn't catch the digital clock. That would be a nice feature since its a royal pain to look at my wrist watch when its buried under my gloves and jacket. Don't need the twin trips, have enough trips just counting trees as I go by. When they get blurr, I know I need to slow down.
