Hey Marty did you see Al gore's movie? he showed where Florida will be if we don't get a handle on the global warming issue. Hey you can always come up here, if you don't mind 160 inches of rain a year.

Thanks for the invitation to supply some of my own snow pictures.
However I don't have any!
It does not snow here!
That's why I live here.

Deej,
Nope I didn't see the movie by Al Gore. Was a typical work of fiction?
BTW, the PNW is a desert - at least according to the US Weather Service - in comparison.
Remember, Florida is a sandbar that separates the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. The storms just come across us daily during the summer. I have seen 5 inches of rain in 45 minutes here. 10 minutes later you could not tell it rained! The water just runs down through the sand.
Snow, at least I've been told, is clean. So you should not have any issues with riding the KLX250S. When I was stationed in Japan, we had snow, lots of snow! I remember seeing the local delivery guys riding Honda step throughs of about 70 cc displacement with chains on the rear tires carrying boxes stacked up high on the back through the snow!
Nice pictures redbrd, I heard you guys got dumped on pretty good. I have to make in out to BC sometime to check that place out, looks like a beautiful spot. I'm in NB and we haven't had snow yet.
The snow was nice but it was -9c all day and that is really cold for us left coaster's
This is what i look at every day at work and i agree with you it is a beautiful spot.
I hear NB is like England were i came from originally ,one day i will head east and check it out.

This was last year, my son and i ride all year long if we can, the mountain's are 15 minutes from home so that's too tempting.
That was my CRF230 i had before the klx, it was stolen out of my truck last April, anyway if you prepare for the cold ,riding in snow is a blast.
