Ok since its snowing here and that's almost unheard of I thought I would start an official snow thread. Here are a few I took 10 minutes ago, and as you can see when the snow slides off a metal roof it leaves quite a snow drift. Enjoy, and add your snow pics.

i wont be seein any snow for another coupla weeks... been cold as a witches tit here lately tho..........

The weathermen keep talking about the system in the PNW that's headed our way by Wednesday night, that must be it. OF course when it gets here it will turn into freezing rain and drizzle. Oh joy! [:'(]

It was 60 here in Long Island today! for the rest of the week the weather man says 55-60 and sunny.. Great riding weather!![sm=smiley20.gif]

 

The last snow we had like that was the year 2000. Not much since then though - usually we get ice storms and we've had a few of those. Ice is nasty, usually knocks out power due to trees falling across the power lines, not to mention it makes driving impossible, not matter how many wheel drive you have.

Sigh. I miss snow.

On the upside it was sunny and 70 degrees here today and made the ride to and from work quite enjoyable.

Hey Marty did you see Al gore's movie? he showed where Florida will be if we don't get a handle on the global warming issue. Hey you can always come up here, if you don't mind 160 inches of rain a year.

 

What's that white stuff??? It looks like the flakey Ice that builds up in my bait freezer!
