Did you try putting it on ebay? Someone, somewhere would want it I'd think. Mine is sitting in the spare parts pile and will go the way of the recycler someday.

 

Keep the tank. When you go to sell the bike, put it back on and sell your high volume tank.

 

feeling lazy these days...i wish somebody would make 4+ gallon tank for the klx250..haha...i'm commuting every single day and filling up every single day...urgh....

 

I keep a 5 gallon can in my garage and top the KLX off before every ride. I would go nuts otherwise. The only reason I would buy a KLR650 is for the 6.1 gallon gas tank.

 

reason why i'm going to put a rear rack on the bike with a locking 3 gallon rotopax...

 

I need a stock tank for an '07 if anyone is feeling generous. Happy to pay shipping cost, isn't that nice of me? Previous owner dropped the bike on the trailer and put a crease in the top of the tank and it bugs the **** out of me every time I look at it.
