My Great Grandfather bought it new in 85 or 86, the only things that ever got replaced were the rear tires, oil and filter other than that it was all original including brakes up through 2000 when I stupidly traded it for an 87 Warrior. That 3 wheeler was built like a tank and never had any issues although the axle splines were starting to get worn but after 25 yrs I think thats a pretty good run.

E-ton is the brand. I think its a chinese brand but its along those lines, they generally make smaller engine size machine that are similar to the Japanese brands. I've seen a few of the mini kids atvs and they looked ok for what they were. I've never seen the 250 model though.

I would go with the Honda sportrax 250. Itis very reliable and gets great reviews. If I was going to buy my wife a quadthe Honda 250 is the one I would get.

the honda 250ex is the one i'd recommend, but make sure you get an '05 or newer as those have updated styling and the auto clutch that you can use manually also. be warned though that these are not power mongers nor speed demons and their suspension leaves much to be desired. but they will darn near go everywhere a 400 can go. i know cuz when i rode my 400ex, a guy had a 250 and went purnear everywhere we went on larger machines. the suzuki Z250 is pretty much identical to the honda 250 'cept for their engine is mounted conventionally whereas the honda doesn't have to make a 90 degree turn to put power to the shaft. other than that, the only difference is the suzuki doesn't have the special clutch. about same price, performance although i had read where the honda was just a smidge faster. good luck.

Gotta love the three wheelers, I had a Yamaha 225 three wheeler with electric start, reverse, back up pull start and shaft drive, I had it at a time when the industry was heading to the 4 wheel ATV's, and all my buddies said to get rid of it, but I think it was because they got tired of me beating them on thier Honda 250 quads. If you learn to ride a three wheeler right, you can ride anyhting. Its all about hanging over the rear fenders and using the gas.[sm=happybounce.gif]
