Wow, 237,953 registrations for off-road vehicles in the first half of this year alone in Arizona.

238,000 registrations against 14 tree huggers......... I like those odds! So how is it that they are winning? We need to be as vocal as they are. The problem is that they have no life outside of their cause, meanwhile we're out having fun, riding!!!

I'm a zen buddhist - womanizing - dirt bike riding - sierra club outing leader - rock climbing - living on the edge - smoking - corona drinking with a 9mm handgun nut who loves a remote campsite in the Grand Canyon but also loves to tear up the dirt and asphalt on my bikes - Ahh yes it's a Carl Jungian thing - the duality of man!

I think you have too many folks moving to AZ from Calif. bringing their tree hugging desert saving attuides with them. I always liked AZ because of the very accesible off road use and the gun laws!....Oh and the weather in Prescott.

Now as soon as I could sell this place in Calif......HMMM...

Theres a place called MacLean Creek near where I live that is a really good place to go, but its always under fire because of retards lighting stuff on fire, leaving all their garbage behind etc. Its not a small amount of garbage either:

http://www.cbc.ca/canada/calgary/sto...destroyed.html

Last May long weekend was really bad, my brother and I were riding around and going to this field where we practice wheelies and stuff but saw tents still there, or what we thought were tents. They were actually larege mounds of garbage, like matresses, tires, doors etc.

Basically the riding is a bunch of cut trails from oil rig roads and such. So now as if it wasnt hard keeping the land open for people who actually responsibly ride on the trails and such (as i guess their concern is restoring the land), they now get to deal with all the trash left behind.

Seems like theres more bad ones than good ones on vehicles these days. You can see alot of nonsense in the form of video on youtube. Just search maclean creek and you'll find a bunch.

Yeah the riding club I belong to dedicates one day a month to desert clean-up - there is a lot of sh*t out there. Didn't realize you had that problem in Canada which always seemed to me to be so clean - In Alberta don't you have that super toxic tar sand petroleum production to deal with too - Yikes!

We're pretty clean until we start drinking Tar sands are way up north and in northern saskatchewan, so its not an eyesore from down here in Calgary. Out in Maclean is just plain oil and gas batteries and such I think. If you get close enough to them they stink but are pretty much out of site as well. Its these effin campers every long weekend that just wreck it.
