Thanks for all the nice words. 35 miles on it back and forth to work a couple times so far this week, and it's still working . I'll keep you posted. I like tinkering with stuff, and I really had nothing to loose by attempting to fix it. I'll keep you posted. MavAus put up a link in another thread to the Vapor. I thought those things were at least $200, but the site he linked had them for $129. Looks like the vapor has clock, air temp, and the small sending wire would clean up the front fork. Looks like it would be a good option down the road, even if my rigged up stocker keeps working.
