Default Number plate holders

I dont know about the US requirements, but in Australia we can get away with taking the large hanger off the rear and replace it with a nice compact piece of aluminum. Looking at the great pics that you guys post i have noticedthat almostall of youhave the chunky standard thingthat is just waiting to be ripped off. I am sure that there are plenty of options available in the US, but you may or may not know that the regoplate holder from the Yamaha ttr250 will fit the KLX.

If you are after any aluminium products (bash plates etc), there are a few good guys herein Oz, namely b&b offroad and whipps.

I changed mine to the Acerbis light kit when I had 20 miles on it. I like it because its totally above the fender and doesnt hang down at all.
