im just a little leary of doing the carb work myself, never re jetted before and it looks a little complicated.

There must be some one in your neck of the woods that can help. That's what forums are for.
Plenty of guys will take up the challenge if you supply the six packs.
It's not a hard job.

The hardest part of rejetting is pulling the carb out of the frame. Its pretty cramped and you have to turn it "just so" to get it out. Beyond that its a few turns of a screwdriver to get at the jets. If you get the dynojet kit it comes with recommendation as far as what #'s to use.
