No-Toil Filter
Just swapped in a No-Toil at my first filter service at about 1000 miles.
Is there any reason why I wouldn't just throw away a dirty No-Toil filter and replace it with a new one every 1000-1500 miles? They only cost $17.

Will your throwaways fit an '09? I'll pay for postage and recycle them. If you figure it's worth 17$ to not have to clean and reoil them go for it. I've got more time than money. But I see your point, it's not much of an added expense in total per mile.
Clean with no name oxy clean powdered detergent, and re oil with Notoil. I get at least a season out of one, maybe more. With Notoil oil, you can just throw it in the laundry if you want.
