funny thing is, when i was younger I'd jump at the chance to get on the ski-doo in this crap and hit the frozen ponds and all the mudholes on the trails would be frozen over too..so no worries of getting the sled stuck in the ice and slush. Would ride all day and I never remember being cold though...I couldn't do it now though, I think I'd be frozen in an hour.

I rode today here in NC(about 20 degrees.) I was fine except for my fingers and had to stop after about 20 minutes. Some good gloves and a full face helmet & I could ride all day.

Well geeze, I would ride, IF I could the KLX started first when its freezing. When it 32* F, thats it, the KLX will not start. Only ifI crank on it for the next 30mins.

And when I did get start to ride. My unit did freeze and never really felt the sameafter the whole day.[&:]

Mine was hard to start too but I tilted the bike down and held it for 30 seconds or so. It started right up after I stood it back up un the stand. I just lean it down as far as I can hold it and then hold it for at least 15 seconds. It's a good strength builder for picking up the Klx from those dreaded drops in the deep mud. I try to ride at least once a week because I am afraid it will not start at all after sitting too long.
