Default Nice Curves... Does that bolt up to ours?

Is there any year KX250F that bolts to our 2009 KLX?

See attached for the Nices Curves comment.

pseacraft, that was my exact first impression. Who wants to spend ~$500+ for such a small gain.

I too doubt it botls on, just becuase the frame geometery is different.
But then agian, it would make sense to have the same casting and machining, right?

Either way would be really good to "know".
I am not sure where to find out - hence the posted question

Oh ... your talking about an exhaust?

You may be able to make it fit? But they don't fit without modification

Oh no, the exhaust was a tangent. I was wondering if the Motor in the KX250F would replace the motor in the KLX250S and bolt to the same mounting pattern.

It has nearly twice the horse power and probably boat loads more torque.

and a very different engine character - the klx climbs hills better as its just a tractor and not as snappy if thats what you want?

power and torque figures don't show the whole picture here, and a 350kit would be a heap easier and cheaper, and sorry, but way more usable power....go a big bore instead.
