YYY.GUY Tuned Pipe debates come up on the HPIBajaforum quite regular. the Pipes that are out for are 23-30.5cc look and sound like a two stroke dirtbike on speed!!!!LOL . I think by reading the replys tomy question.I will try the higher RPM methods that most of you have used. I hope to get ridingsoon, as the snow is not all gone yet!

Yeah you gotta watch out for those Savage owners, I think its the nitro fumes.

For what its worth, the carb on a Savage is sooooo much easier to tweak/tune than the KLX. 2 needles and just screwing them in or out and you can compensate for anything, from a port and polish, to a different expansion pipe, to changing head shims and compression. Who wouldn't love a 3HP 5cc 35,000 rpm motor anyway?

From all the vids I've seen it sure looks it, but that $1000 initial cost is hard to swallow, even though both my Revo and Savage ended up having more than that invested in them

The Baja is Still WAY Cheaper in the long run than an nitro you can run for over an hour on one tank of reg gas mixed 32:1 and NO Glow plugs. As well the. Baja isvery tough!!!

Ken
