hello all, I've been leaching info off this site for awhile so I thought I would put in my 2 cents and say thanks

First off I have a stock 07 with 3700kms(2300 miles) bought used in August ran good this fall, a little gutless but... Tried to start it up a couple of weekends ago with no luck so I got mad and pulled the carb off and ordered a DJ KLX300 jet kit and a Two Brothers exhaust for it. I figured spite would help fix it more than fresh gas.

Anyways this is a good site with lots of info I'll give updates on mods to the rig as they progress.

You pulled the carb because it wouldn't start? Wow you are hard core man. Just run the gas out next time. Also while jetting will add power (along with a pipe) and will help it warm up faster, keeping the bowl dry if the bike is going to sit for more than a week is the key to making sure it will start every time. Oh and welcome to the forums man.

Well I've tried keeping the bowl wet and that didn't work so I guess I know what I will try next time.
