I'm curious what other mods you've done other than gearing. I can barely loft the front in second gear. I have to clutch it, wind it out, dump and pull hard and I might get a good 10" of air under my tire. Pretty pathetic if you ask me.

Looks like you got her running real good.

Question thou, with the 15/40 gearing and your 17" rear (if those numbers are correct) how many rpms are you spinning at say 60 mph.

Yeah, that sounds about right. I'm running 15/39 with 17" rims and get close to the same result.

Thanks tremor My tach is on the fritz (bought a new one off another member) so I Can't remember what it is at certain speeds. When I put the dirt tires on 15/47 its a wheelie beast. Its hard to keep the front end down.

Not bad at all.

Take about 10% off the speed and you got the rpms......wow only 6.3k at 70 mph or 7.2k at 80 mph....damn impressive with the performance you got going at that ratio.

Yeah runs pretty good with the 13 t front and forty rear it wheelies 1,2,3,4 th gear at will 15 /40 I've got to clutch it up in 4th but i never yank on the bars.
Dirt setup its real hard to keep the front end down my buddy Pogo's himself into the ground every time he rides it. My license plate is split on both side at the bolt holes.
