Using your account settings you can restore the old format. I did so immediately. Received a couple auto generated "why don't you like the new format" messages that I just ignore. It's a free hosting so i guess you get what you pay for, my friends all pay for smugmug. Used flicker for a while but your free space runs out and they start over writing your oldest images once the free memory is full. (data is still there if you join)

I like Smugmug. It's worth the yearly fee to have a solid photo sharing account.Different forums accept images in different formats, Smugmug accommodates all of these. One forum allows you to copy and paste the image in different size's, another you have to insert a link. Once you become use to them it is fairly easy.

I looked all over user profile and user settings
where is the restore to old format at??

I see they added finally a way to multiple delete and move which is nice now
maybe I wont need to change it

search on the site said opt out ended in january
and I know everytime it tried to force me to change I opted out
because I remember it saying I can get 20 or whatever more gigabytes for free if I switched
which I didnt because I already pay for it and get xxxx amount
I figured that was just trying to entice the free uses for more space which I dont care about

guess it was just a fake opt out

still have one more problem with it, hopefully that gets fixed soon
then it will be fine for me
