Today I installed the fmf megabomb headpipe and Q4 muffler, Renthal jimmy button handle bars and new grips. I also removed the backfire screen from behind the airfilter. I think that other than a big bore kit the only I hope to towards performance is a new airfilter. I love my bike now! I have more power everywhere, but I really noticed top end has gained the most. I have only rode my klx around the block and in my yard (several trenches now from burnouts) but I will be going for a good ride this weekend.



Is there a thread on how to install a new rear shock spring and how do I order that new spring?

I wish i had the cash to do that. Did it on my last little ttr 230 i sold. I loved it. I would love to do it to the 250s. what an improvent and the fun level is 10 times more.

Yeah, I have done a rejet of my carb. I dont remember which jets I used but I did turn the fuel mix screw out 2 1/2 turns.
So, scallen where can we go ride off road somewhere between us? I have only been to the Westminster area a couple of times for road calls(work). It would be great to meet somewhere along hwy 11 if you know of anywhere we could ride.
