Hi guys!
Just bought a new 2012 KLX250S and I have a few questions. Be gentle please if these have been asked before!

1) What year can I go back to for spares accessories etc for the 2012 model? In other words what passed years does the 2012 match?

2) What is the maximum weight one can put on a rack attached to the sub frame? Also what weight could you put on the pannier sides and top rack combined?

3) Jetting. I know there is a host of information on this but not specifically (well I cannot find it) for here in Calgary at about 3500 ft, so what would be the best for here in everyones opinion please?

Also does anyone find the owners manual a joke? I cannot even find how to change a headlight bulb. Fuses yes but not a bulb. Did I miss something?

Thanks a bunch.
Howard.

Thanks so much.
Yes it is a carb model. EFI seems to be escaping us up here at the moment!
I'll have a look at the spreadsheet.

the service manual is a thick book that shows you how to do everything...are you looking at the service manual or the small booklet that came with the bike?

Well the "Owners Manual" is pretty thick too albeit with various languages.
Upon saying that I would have expected to find how to change a bulb.
I have downloaded the service manual so I can do this but would have liked to take the owners manual along for a ride just as reference for awhile.
No good though if it does not cover the basics.
Howard.
