Helmet Question:

Sugestions for a quality helmet:

Is there a difference in the <$100 helmets & the >$100-400 helmets to make them so much more?

Who has what & why?

Are there any helmets that with look right that you can use a full screen or remove & uses goggles?

Im using my brothers Shoei helmet & like the full visior. I need to get one of my own & would like something that doesnt look so "street"

i got mine off www.denniskirk.com haha i'm gonna keep pluggin this lol.

they have a full selection of all sorts of helmets in all price ranges and delivery is quick! if nothing else check them out and see what you think.

i have a $40 AFX FX-20 in black and it's good for me. besides fit, comfort, ventilation, and style idk about crash test lol but it's DOT approved so it should be just the same. i'm sure the more expensive ones are prolly reinforced with stronger material but that's just a guess. i like my helmet and see nothing wrong with it.

hope that helps a little.

good luck

That skull helmet rocks, dig the greem and black. Just got the EVS Takt 981 last week. Definatley check them out. Lightweight 1500 grams, rubber visor x-tra shorty visor and rubber collar protection reduces breaking you collarbone.

I've got 4, its that extra one thats throwing me off.
Well, look at all of the colors again. I'll bet that 2 of them are the same color (red and black for high beam). One just branches off of the high beam wire and goes to the high beam indicator. It doesn't matter which red and black wire you hook into, but if one is thicker use that. Use a tie-in splice rather that cutting or you will lose the high beam indicator.
Ah never thought of that. Yeah theres two that are red and black, then one red and yellow. I see green has a good writeup so I'll just copy
