Default New Bike!!!

Before i start, I still have the klx. It needed a friend in the garage.

So...Iv'e been wantin a two smoke for a while now to fool around on.Living in CT, very rarley will you eversee a new bike listed for under MSRP. So i was looking used, and looking on the net for deals. Anyways...found a brand new 06 leftover CR125 at a dealership in new york for$2900 bucks. Looked online some more, saw that they were going for $5500 new in 06 and this year(MSRP, and no change in bike between the two years). Looked at some more used ones in our CT classifieds (the "bargain news" for you up north that know what that is) and saw that many 06's were going for more than 2900 used.
Anyways...i decided to pull the trigger on the one in NY. Got it for 2900 even. It was dark when i got home tonight, but obviouslyI still had to take it for a rip. Turned on all the lights I could outside, still not illuminating the yard too greatly, and took a buzz around. Started first kick, even after its cold2 hour ride home in the back of my truck. Didn't get too deep into the power ban due to the darkness + tree factor, but damn does that thing move.

Weighs in at 197lbs dry. Pretty damn light. I'm gonna tag it for off road (like 20 bucks for 2 years). I do have to buy a scilencer with a spark arrestor in it though.

If u don't mind me asking, what kinda riding do you do and how much do ya weigh? Thought about a bike like that for off-road-only here in GA.

Very nice, first thing I would buy for that bad boy is a pipe universal pipe guards to keep the pipe from getting crushed. Only thing is I can't seem to find anything. I'm sure you have seen them, aluminum, with slots cut in them so you can custom fit it to your pipe. Where are they? It seems that the only thing our there is Carbon Fiber.
