Default New AGM battery makes starting a breeze.

I finally got tired of starting my bike since the battery has weakened over the past year or so. You know the routine. Back the bike up to the top of the driveway, put it in second, turn on the key and choke, run like hell until halfway down the driveway, jump up onto the seat and pop the clutch just as my *** hits the seat. Yeah it's good exercise but gets old fast.

My AGM battery came in today from Amazon, $50 shipped. Popped it in and never heard the old KLX crank so quickly. If you need a new battery I suggest going with the AGM type.

Absolutely, here you go. Doesn't say free shipping but it was free when I actually ordered?

I think I got a good factory battery. My 07 still cranks up with one quick push of the button every time.. It's stock battery, never been on a charger in it's life. STRONG LIKE BULL!!

My '06 battery is stock. It's dying a quick death now that it's getting cold. Just bought this one, but haven't installed yet.

Anyone try the Shorai brand of Lithium Iron battery?
Weighs only 1.23 pounds and is rated for 9 amp/hours.
Not sure if it's worth triple the price, but it's supposed to give you twice the life of a lead acid.
