Sounds good to me. Another sound you may hear when you ride is the cam chain. You can hear it at lower speeds and just move your left leg out and new sounds become apparent. But its all normal. If you do have a engine knock, suggest moving to Premuim Unleaded 91. I have, and the bike runs smoother andmore responsive.

 

Wait until you install a skid plate, then you'll be hearing all kinds of stuff.

Zap, it sounds just like my bike and every klx out there.( except for EMS's bike which definately has a problem). EMS,so what are they doing to your bike now man?

just bought a new klx250 today for my son and I know what you mean about engine noise.....doest sound normal. Took it back to the dealer to look at it and they said it was normal. It does make me concerned1
