Acerbis Tank definitely fits my 09 klxs, but only disappointing thing is where seat sits against the tank there is a small recess (probley as past seat was a bit deeper sitting into the tank. Like I said a bit of forcing required so those who want a perfect fit, perfect looking solution it may not be for you, but those that care for function over a few imperfections it is fine.

The tank itself is exceptional quality compared to some acerbis tanks I have owned in the past and looks top notch.

If I can figure out how to get this site to accept my pics (yes they are <200kB) I will show pics this weekend.

I got my 2009 KLX 250 S last Saturday. Went for a ride in the woods on Sunday. Did some logging road, single track and street. Went down a few times, not sure if it was the slimy rocks or the new tires or me. The guy with me on a 2007 KLX said he went down too, but I didn't see him go. Love the bike, going to register it this week and hit the street.

Go price the oem replacement parts online, it will make you ride better (because you'll be $hocked when you see the prices). The # plate side panel and the sticker will almost put you at the 3 digit mark.A turn signal & your half way to 3 digits. Bars? don't even look, go aftermarket and you will save some $$$. Levers are priced aboutright. Don't chuck the smog stuff, put itin a box & save it for when you sell. The hoses alone are$25 ea.

Receivedthe replacementPro Taper Universal Fat Bar kit #022821 as a result of the recall. Everything looks the same even the allen head bolts...oh well. Amazingly fast customer service.

RaceGass, Saddle, and Speedy welcome to the fourms

I've dropped mine a couple times too. But... scratches are cool... uh, right?
Like the "chicks dig scars" thing.. naaa scars suck, but scratches are still cool

Default Got my new Power up kit?????

Just trying to do the FMF Q4. Also ordered the the FMF power up jet kit(#011708) Got the needle set @ 4th notch, #128 jet ,etc. Instructions say to set fuel screw @2.5 turns CCW from seat.
Where is the screw at?? Carb is a Kehin, (CVK?) P023 AVKF.
I see no screws visable to adjust.
Bike is a 09 KLX250S.
Thanks guys
Jerry
