Default Need some new tires!!!

I have an 07 klx 250. It has 2200 miles, and the stock tire is beat. I ride street for about 4 months, than take to the trails during hunting season. Anyone have some advice on regarding a 60/40 tire? My dealer claims that there a not many options, so I've turned to the experts, the guys that actually ride them. I was thinking about the Bridgestone Trail Wing. Any advice would be sweet.

Cool

Where I'm from those Trail Wings are better known as Death Wings. I like a full knobby, after all, this is a dirt bike. I'm sure others will chip in and comment as to 60/40 type. I have some brand new Kenda 270s in my shop that never made it on to my bike. PM me and I'll make you a killer deal.

My 606 tires have never let me down. I'm on my 4th back tire and this is my second 606. in between I had the Kenda K270, great on the road, but sucked on anything lose.

I'm looking at the shinko 244's a mc warehouse. The klr guys seem to like them and the price is unreal.

Hmmmmm the Shinko looks a lot like the Kenda K270

Kenda

In fact over on the ADV site there is a good thread comparing the Shinto and the Kenda...interesting.

I like the Kenda for its side traction a little better than the Shinto.

Well considering the street driving you are doing I'd go with the Kenda. If you are like me you probably put new tire on in spring. If you use a knobby tire by the time hunting season rolls around that knobby is gonna be wore out. with the kenda I think you will have plenty of thread left to travel the trails come fall. Tires really a personal choice achieved thru trial and error over time to find out what work best for YOU.
