Default Need a quieter pipe for Klx330

Bike has the two brothers"full exhaust" system. It was fine when bike was a 250. Now that it has been upgraded to 330cc it is unbearable. Repacked silencer. Fitted a - 10db p1x decibel killer. Still sounds like the exhaust has fallen off. I have to ride with ear plugs and it's still too loud.

Any suggestions appreciated

Tacoma has the right idea. Your Two Brothers goes for well over $550 USD new. So selling it used, you should be able to get at least $300 for it. You could get a used stock 300R exhaust with money to spare. Just checked ebay and they run around $150.

muffler and header runs amazing with current jetting and it also has the option to tune the baffle for different sounds. I got mine for just shipping charges from thumpertalk as someone was tossing their full stock system so worked out perfect

If you are willing to spend a bit of money check out for @tooter exhaust setup. He has I think a Four Strokes Only muffler that has the Supertrapp disc setup. He runs only a few discs and it works great. I have a setup like that on my KLX650 running 8 discs. I have a Pro Circuit setup similar and figure I could cut down to four discs which should make the bike totally acceptable seeing as how no one complained about the 650 with eight. My neighbor had no problem which was surprising considering I'd start the bike at around 6:30 am some days. My wife also said it wasn't bad.

@MXM you do realize that your bike is dyno tuned for your (quite extensive) engine mod combo. Any muzzling of your exhaust flow will negate your existing tuning. I understand it being so loud as to interfere with your riding pleasure, but do not expect your existing tune to operate well, when/if you change exhaust components in an effort to quiet the bike.

I can confirm your statement.
I dynoed my bike again with just my regular everyday quiet exhaust set up (3 disks) and the top end horsepower dropped from 25.0 HP to 23.5 HP. However the torque remained exactly the same at 16.5 TQ.

This is how it sounds...
