Default Need a new exhaust.

I'm currently stuck with my stock 2010klxsf exhuast I know it's very restrictive. I was wondering what kind of ranged in price i'm looking for when getting a new exhaust. The best I could do is maybe a couple hundred but, thats it...

Default KLX300 exhaust

I was able to find a complete KLX300 exhaust in good condition on eBay for 40$. I think that if you're patient, it's the cheapest way to get a less restrictive exhaust. Around here it doesn't get the police attention because it look exactly the same as the stock one.

Loud exhausts get old real fast...get the 300 exhaust or wait until you can afford to spring for a more 'responsible' part. I like my FMF PC4 w/small baffle.

I've got a used, loud HMF that I couldn't stand. Interested?

I don't want it to be super loud. I mean I like the quitness of the stock. It just really does restrict the flow.. and i feel the bike can do much better.

On planet klx they recommend drilling out the stock exhaust. Not something I wanted to do, but it would open things up. I went with an fmf q4 and megabomb (which supposedly helps lower the volume). I like it but it's still somewhat loud and certainly isn't a cheap option. I am considering getting the quietcore insert to quiet it even more.

When I bought my 06 GSXR I didn't like the look of the OE muffler and decided that a Hotbodies shorty muffler would be ideal-it looked like a MotoGP exhaust. Only problem is that it was as LOUD as a MotoGP bike-ear splitting when you romped on it. The final straw was when I was railing up Blood Mountain and I just couldn't stand the shriek reverberating off of the mountain sides. Off it went-sold it to some squidly fool and put a nice Leo Vince on in its place...much better.

My DG-R is loud and makes me giggle like a little girl every time I open er up. A loud nicely attenuated slip-on will never get old. But that's me.
