Default Proto type question

Hi,

In designing the racks, I have removed the factory tool bag from the fender to get the weight as far forward as possible. Does that pose any problems?

give me your comments/ idea's.

Thanks Tom

They look great Tom! I think I'm gonna start planning a trip soon! Hey Tom, you should let everyone know about the gas container that can bolt on to that rack!

I think it would be great if you could keep the tool bag on with the rack

Default Rack Too Big

Many of us are not going touring - we just need a rack to carry day stuff. Larger than the 2007 rack but not this large

This one is still a bit large and the design is really bad - but getting closer to the size

It's made by Koplin, Tom sells the stuff, but Koplin sometimes has a cap leakage problem.. mount them vertically.

Default Tool Bag

Lose the tool bag in favor of better rack placement

We build three different rack systems. The TCIBorrego Rack is a basic rear rack. It is just the top section (no side racks) of the Denali that is shown in the picture.

im loving this stuff, especialy the brake guard, but one thing these bikes need is a rad hose guard. trust me on that one, i have a hose on order right now because of a small tip over and a damn rock in the wrong place.
