Need advice on trespassing charge on unmarked/ungated trails

this is one of the stupidest things ive seen yet... they just didnt want to admit they were rong either that or they are just ignorant idiots that feel they are better hen u cus they have a badge and a radio on them, ive bene a couple situations like that myself never took it to court but i got out of it fine free and my bike isnt insured and i dont have the plate on it.

dammed if u are plated dammed if ur not plated, here in Australia, most of the country is national park(land owned by the government so it doesnt get destroyed) and as long as you are plated, they dont care, even if there are locked gates on the trails.

I dont think you have anything to worry about guy was just blowing smoke out his butt and trying to show off his "authoraty". The gates were open there were no signs and you did not defy his request to leave.

unless it was posted or you were verbally told not to go there and went anyways, then its not legally trespassing.

Well the way I see it is there was no way for you to get your bikes there legally without tresspassing or being on a road. It's up to the judge though.
