Unintended consequences.

Now we have a thread that reflects poorly on B and B Cycles AND calls into question the integrity of this forum.

lovely.

No harm done by either party here. Sometimes we all get poor service and need a good rant. I know I have. A vendor who's been very helpful to the community get's a one-time "lil help" from the mod more than most would. I've done that too.

We're all big boys here. Pretty sure we can back off and be more objective for a while. Everyone involved is a valued member of the collective. Let's keep it that way.

Slug each other on the shoulder and let's go ride.

But that shouldn't make him immune to negative criticism

Seems like this thread will go bye-bye also but it's been a good read. I'm now leaning toward Kustom kraft kit or a stock 300cc cylinder now.

Why? Unless a critical timeline exists for your big bore, why would you pass up a good product with a good guy? Being that the other thread was removed, I never saw if "xx" responded to my question about his bike being broken or down, and therefore being more important about his parts delivery. If you wait longer than perhaps you should, and then decide to do something like a bore and carb kit install that needs to be done on a tight timeline, I don't care who's kit you go with. You shouldn't put yourself in such a time crunch unless you had a major failure or breakdown that precipitated the decision to do a bore kit. I'm sure KK, Kawasaki, or any other bore kit suppliers never have supply issues, and that every time you order from any of them, you're guaranteed they will always have the parts. I never proceed on a project or start disassembling my existing vehicle until I have all the necessary parts in hand. Trying to rush stuff like this is an invitation to trouble. Still, everyone has the right to put the amount of importance they deem appropriate to any issue involved in a transaction like this. And the rest of us can insert their 2 cents if we feel they are being somewhat unreasonable.

Well said. Get all of your ducks lined up. That's just one of the Rules for New Parts.

I hate when sites edit or delete posts to favor someone
especially paying vendors or advertisers
Dont think thats the case here although the person who deleted the post is a customer, and who knows if he gets special treatment or priority on services
Thats the first thing I think about when I see stuff like this happening

unless someone is making threats or continues to curse I think any feedback, positive or negative should be allowed to continue on
too many sites delete negative feedback, or problems
then others wont know what to expect when placing orders
they may have no problems, or they may have a huge delay but they would never know because threads or posts get deleted.

I have no problems pointing out my negative experiences with any private seller, or store
and no problems with positive either

I think most forums are over moderated. This one's usually very good that way, but it doesn't see a lot of traffic either. I'm sure he's learned from it.
