He was just unhappy about Bill taking a little longer than he thought he should have, and saying how no one should go to him for big bores or other work. In my opinion he was making a mountain out of an ant hill. There was no need for what was said. Bill is a member here and does a lot of business with people from here. I didn't feel the thread was really justified to bash Bill as bad as he was. Bills reputation here is his business/life. Bill has put a lot of time, money, and part of his life into quality products for our bikes. Its not like the rest of us BS'ing and looking for jetting info. From the information in the original thread he never even confronted or brought up the issue to Bill to make it right, he just came on here to bash him. Bill Blue does quality work. I have his 351 kit and had him do a valve job on my bike with in the past few months. I have spoken with him on the phone many times. He has done machining from when he was 16 years old and now he is almost 70. I believe his "business" is only him. I have not heard about his customer service being poor up to this point. He was always honest with me and the work took reasonable time. Do I have personal involvement with Bill, yes, only from a business stand point. He has mentioned big bore kits taking longer because people not sending back stock jugs, no jugs means no big bores. Bill has done alot for the KLX. I did not appreciate that thread, i felt it was a thread solely to bash another member/business. Thats not what this forum is for.

Ahh, at least now we know that the original post was deleted because *you* didn't agree with my views. Not because it was offensive, defamed anyone or had anything that remotely violated principles of reasonable discussion. Talk about an abuse of power.

Let's get this straight EMS. You may like Bill, but it doesn't give you the right to suppress legitimate feedback from other members. As others have pointed out, I made a decision to buy from Bill based on feedback I read in this forum. So, any and all feedback on the same vein is important to future members of this forum who may be considering a purchase. As someone said succintly "are we only allowed to voice favorable opinions of products or vendors?" What are we in **** Germany?

Let's also get another thing straight. I did not bash on bill or defame him or try and hurt his business in any way. I presented an objective view of his poor customer service with facts. 95% of internet business are built on reviews and customer feedback.

Also, it would have been basic courtesy to send me a PM telling me you are about to pull my thread and explaining why. You just don't ****-censor someone's well articulated opinions because you and bill go duck hunting together.

You want this forum to grow with good content and opinions or do you want a bill blue fan club?

At least EMS owned up to it. What he did was wrong though. Maybe let Bill speak for himself.

Earlier the rules were alluded to, so I took a look.

I suppose the last sentence covers it; for better or worse.

It sounds like none of those things were done.

Where did you find the rules? Half the links are dead in sections.

what we have to ask ourselves is if this was a complaint against Kustom kraft or another big bore vendor, would it have been deleted?

Had to look up Godwin's law...
He did it to, in his own words,"I wanted folks who glibly compared someone else to Hitler or to ***** to think a bit harder about the Holocaust."
Learn something new everyday. Thanks.

I learned about Godwin's Law over on ADV. It's a much more sophisticated and gentile clientele over there. Kind of a Grey Poupon type of crowd, don't ya know.

xxaarraa...c'mon buddy...I don't agree with the post being pulled either, but let's not go overboard. I think the point you were making on the original has pretty much been made on this one. Mission accomplished...and not saying that in a smart aleck way.
