Its me again, went to Kawasaki shop to pick up my license plate and ask about my 600 mile check up. I ask if its covered by my warranty and they said no. I ask how much, the answer was $191. I ask what they were going to do, the answer was change oil and filter and check for loose bolts. I elected to change oil myself for the tune of $22 for their oil and filter. I got around to changing oil and filter yesterday, no big thing. I have changed oil on bikes for 40 years. I decided to open up the idle circuit on the carb. Not an easy thing to do. The screw was out 2-1/4 turns. I opened it up to 3 turns and put everything back together. It does seem to accelerate off idle a little better. Thats all I am going to do to for now. Might change to the 13 tooth sprocket soon, because the 14 tooth is a little high in 1st gear for off road riding, my opinion. More later.

Also, consider using Rotella 15w40, or the Group III based Rotella 5w40. Inexpensive JASO-rated oil that performs very well as verified by UOA's.

Thanks guys thats good to know about the oil filters. I have been switching over to the Rotella 15-40 on my Hondas, I have a 82 nighthawk 450, an 80 cm 200T and a 350 rancher 4 wheeler, might have something else that runs but can't think of any right now. I have 2 other project bikes, a 79 cm 400 twin thats going to be different when its done, the other one is in 5 gallon buckets, not sure what it is. I tried to post a picture a few minutes ago and could not. Thanks again.

PS. upload of file failed is all I get when trying to post a picture.
