Default selling my 2012 250s :(

She doesnt even have 700 miles on her either. Traded my zx6r in for a Ninja 1000, so the klx is no longer my upright bike...I have her advertized, but thought id throw it on here for anybody remotely close to the Syracuse NY area..the bike has:

6K HID hi/low beam
stage 2 jet kit
fmf powercore 4
K&N air filter
fender eliminated/short stalk turn signals
SF mirrors
Renthal CR hi bars
asking $4300,but im sure 4000-4100 would take it lol...alot of free stuff with that price..books for 4100 stock.

if you were in SoCal i'd be all over it... i think you should put it back to stock and sell it stock for 4, and part it out and sell the other stuff separate.

I was hoping the extra stuff would help with the sale...even below book value stock

The problem is people always/usually want different things so aftermarket parts are often ignored/even looked as negatives. It for sure narrowest the market.

My offer still stands :-)...I'm in Rochester and we could meet up and have a day of switching some stock for aftermarket(although leave carb alone maybe) and harder stuff.i would buy headlights, power core, k&n.

It will be annoying swapping stuff for sure, but then you could list for 3800 or so and still make same amount of money and sell easier!

Bingo!
I for one would actually pay more for a bike in stock condition than one that has been modded.

First, what one person likes for mods the other doesn't.
Second, a modded bike means it's been torn apart and put back together....maybe many times.
I've seen bastardized bikes due to the not so technically inclined thinking they know what they are doing......everything from stripped parts, damaged parts, to missing parts.

That said......looks like a great deal IMHO.
If this was a year ago I'd make the trip from Minnesota and you'd have a buyer.

Good luck!

btw - Can you shrink that picture a tad? It's blowing out the forum margins big time.
