Good luck out there. The bike will be limited in that situation, but just for a fun experience, it'll do. Back in '84, a buddy of mine who was a state A 250-class enduro champ, rode one of his trailbikes in an indoor MX race in our area. The bike was an XR250R...1984. He left the headlight on just for grins. His was the only 4-stroke in the class. He got third. The main thing is to have fun.

I don't know if any of you were with the forum when Sdunne was Mxing his KLX, but he must have had mad skills because he was finishing with respectable placing. He eventually ditched the KLX in favor of an RM though...I don't blame him

 

IF you want to have fun ride the KLX if you want to win you got to pick KX/RM/YZ/KTM/HON

 

I love to go out there with the smallest, rocking horse, lights & blinkers- if you come in dead last you had fun and no big deal....... but if you finish mid-pack its a WIN!

 

maybe your not doing something right? i dont have a problem....its not the ride its the rider. i think travis pastrana (how ever you spell it) could win on a pedal trike....he can do back flips on them
