Oh yeah, big difference between north and South...we get theSiberian windsup here. There is also the Northernmost Islandcalled Hokkaido..they get even more snow than us. Basically there are three main islands..Hokkaido (northernmost), Honshu (the largest one) and Kyushu to the south. Okinawa is a totally separate little Island with tropical weather year around. The people there were not originally part of Japan and the eldersstill speaktheir own separate language. Theyhavemore rounded features with darkerskin. Anyway, Okinawan summersare smothering if you're not accustomed to that type of heat.

Theseat is awesome! I did the whole ride (about 100mi) yesterday in normal blue jeans and had absolutley no issues with comfort.Any stops these days are for food, gas and, errr downloads. As youwrote earlier, itbecomes even more comfortable the more you use it.

In fact, I sentJames Renazco andChris Hickson some props and pictures yesterday. We'll see if they put thelittle KLX in their gallery or not.

I wasn't aware you had dunes like that in W.A. How far of a drive are they?

Lancelin is about 90 minutes north of Perth.
We're known to the rest of Australia as "sandgropers".
There's pretty much an endless selection of terrain to ride in WA.
The state is bigger than Western Europe and runs from arid desert in the east to tropical rainforest in the north to a 'Euro' temperate climate where it meets the Southern Ocean.
