i have kissed the bar pad. trying to go over a downed tree that was about 2 feet off the ground. a few revs, a dump of the clutch, and up she went....... right into the head. got over the tree though

Not long after putting mine on I was scaling snowbanks and ended up half sitting on the bike, half standing behind it as it was standing straight up on top of a bank.....Throttle response is uh....a bit quicker than it used to be

Just a quick question on installing the vortex.....the stock has entry for two cables, the vortex has only one...?

No brainer. You rely on the return spring on the caby to return the butterfly. Remove the return cable.
Too easy.
