I've been riding the K270 for almost a thousand miles and I have no complaints. Tread is holding up good, too. It's obviously a harder compound than the stock tire to wear that much better, though, so you need to be careful until you get used to it on the road since it won't grip the pavement quite as well. That really hasn't been a problem for me and my riding style. YMMV. Off-road, this tire is superb.

I have 2800 miles on mine and have had it 2 months. the kenda 270 is a far superior all around tire than the stock dunlop, ive had the kenda for about 300 miles and it shows little to no signs of wear. it got me through a muddy 8 inch deep 6 foot wide creek today no problem. i really am in love with my bike as i keep finding excuses to ride it and unlike my truck it doesnt cost an arm and a leg in gas to go exploring. plus it motivates me to go to work since i get to ride it there, but as soon as i get there im even more motivated to leave work to ride it lol.

ORIGINAL: Gravy Train

AND IN NEED OF A REAR TIRE.....
I have 1800 on the stock 603 and I would say that there is still about 25% left on the tire. Out of that 1800 miles I would have to say that 1600 miles have been on the blacktop at 30 to 60 mph and lots of corners. I am getting ready to put on the 606, then after that the Kenda 270's, I have them just sitting at my shop at work, but I seem to be procrastinating, or I'm too cheap. And by the way damp, rain and sun, and I haven't slipped once while cornering, so I have been really impressed with the Dunlop 603.

I have the D606 on order and looking at getting the front to go along with it, cause the stock front tire really stinks in the sand. I still have some tread on the back but I don't really feel that its that safe on the road. Plus the tread I have left is not giving me hardly any traction in the dirt and sand. Im slipping around like on ice...
