How are the kenda 270 in sand comparied to the stock tires for sand hills

 

1198 miles on mine. Rear tire was replaced at 900 miles with a Pirellie MT21.

 

1200 and in dire need of tires. Especially after riding some local lava flows. Lava rock eats tires!

 

235 miles, and say no to crack huh NavyMan! Bet that lava would eat up skin pretty good as well. Ouch!

 

Yeah, I managed to escape with all of my skin intact... luckily. There were several bike sized holes and cracks. One must choose their lines carefully when riding this stuff!

Navyman that Lava field looks fun. Ours on Oahu is pretty old and pretty much red dirt. Hopefully I can get a bike over to the Big Island for some fresh lava rides!

 

How did everyone break there engines in? As your owners manual told you too or as per motoman?
