I've been in heart surgery for 30 years. It's mostly plumbing. Orthopedic is much like woodworking...as the bone is sort of like wood. I've always thought plumbing is easier than wood-working. A good Orthopod is worth his weight in gold.

Hope things turn out well for you.

either way, I got some major shrinkage while just thinking about the incident.

Shrinkage, eh? I call that going into "mouse mode." Like jumping into a 45'F high mountain lake.

Released from hosp yesterday and now at home. I miss the nurse .

Thanks. The "OK" status comes and goes. I try not to write a post when I'm writhing in pain.

What do you know....? She just brought us lunch to my place and we chatted for a couple hours. Very cool lady. But being a trauma ER nurse, I get the direct feeling she's not a big fan of motorcycles.
