I have a Nomadic rack on my '09 KLX and have mounted a Metal Mule box to it.

Rack is well made and fits well. Seems pretty strong too.

ordered the Nomadic rack from Justin, and a Koplin 1.5gal fuel cell to ride on it.
Finally installed the 351 kit, skid plate, and hand guards. FMF pipe is in the mail and i should have it tomorrow. I found a used Q4 on craigs list for $150.00.
The man had it on his wifes bike, sold the bike with the stock pipe, so i am the new owner.
I hope it is like new as stated by the seller..
It won't matter in a few months though.

+1 on the nomadic rack off of ebay. The fit was perfect, all hardware was supplied. I cant remember exactly how much it was tho, if I remember right it was around $100.

They are koplin fuel pack jr's. The cans come with the brackets. I got them off of Sportsmans Guide website for about $35 each. They also make a similar can for water.

I am having trouble finding the fuel tanks now. i found the water cans here:

And here is a picture from the most recent ride. Las Vegas to Laughlin to Oatman, AZ to Kingman to Chloride, across Hoover Dam to home. The wife and I on the 919, my friend on the KLX. Further write up and pictures to follow
