Lubing the throttle tube?

I've had my throttle bind when I pushed it to far to the L. the bar end rubs the inner end of the throttle tube.

Not sure if the OP got this fixed, as this post was well over a year ago but I happen to stumble across this thread.

I took my throttle tube and casing apart the other day and mine was binding up when I re-assembled. Turned out to be the guide piece was pinching one of the two cables between the guide and the casing. I then took it all apart and lubricated with some grease and now she is smooth as ever. the throttle tube should always be able to spin pretty freely. you really should use a lube there cus it could collect dirt and possable stick wide open.check the cables, if they are sticky look for kinks of any kind, then if none, use a dry lube to lube the cables.
