Default Lowering links for a 2019??

just got a 2019 KLX250 and need to drop it some to fit. Called 3 main shops in Ontario - Royal Dist, Fortnine, GP Bikes and none carried them. Where might I look next?

Thanks

Get KoubaLinks.

KoubaLink (koubalinks.com)

They work slicker than snot.

They offer various sizes for how much you want to lower your bike. I'm only 5'5", so I lowered my KLX300 front and rear to an unsprung seat height of 30 inches. Now I can flatfoot both feet when stopped.

Or get some steel flat stock and cut your own. Get the bike on a stand that will allow you to lower it incrementally. Jack it up till the tires just touch, take off the links, then lower it a couple inches (measuring it), then measure distance between centers where the link will bolt on. That is how long a link you need. Flat stock steel can probably be 3/16 thick, aluminum should be more like 1/4", I'd do steel. My brother and a local bike mechanic I knew, both did this. My brother for his KLX250, the mechanic on his KDX200. Not as fancy, but every bit as functional.
