Default Steering Stem Nut size?

Tried using the Search function and not having any luck! I installed a IMS 2.7 gal fuel tank on my 2018 KLX250S this past weekend, all went well with that, except I want to run the vent tube down the stem hole. The OEM nut is not open (capped off and chromed), so I'm looking for a replacement nut. Seeing a ton of conflicting/not clear info on retailer's websites on a nut for this bike. Anyone know the nut specs? Per standard logic - I'm assuming a nut that fits a 2009-up will work for my 2018, correct? As long as these bikes have been in production, basic info like this should just fall in one's lap when searching, I don't get it.

Why don't you just drill a hole in your stem nut for the vent tube
