I have the 2BR M7 on my Thai spec bike and it's better than a horn. Where I live the locals tend to meander about the way on their scooters and pay no mind to any traffic. When my KLX had the stock silencer people would turn their heads and move over a little. Now with the 2BR people move quicker.

WestOz's bike does sound cooler than my FI bike but it could just be the recordings.

 

After a while I got annoyed with my Big Gun, because it was too loud IMO. It was cool sometimes, I liked the sound, but wasn't very good when trying not to **** off neighbours or when driving through quiet neighborhoods. I either got compliments from people like "that sounds like a 450", or complaints like "man that is some loud, you should look into a silencer for it". But on the flip side I did prefer the beefier sound rather than the electric golf cart sound of the stock pipe.

My friend came over my place with his two bro's exhaust and the neighbors called the cops because the bike was so loud, lol.

 

That's why I ordered a FMF Q4. I don't really care about the noise as much as I do the gain from the less restricted exhaust and jet kit. I hear all these guys on their big road bikes with the loudest exhaust they can find----all I can say is, at least at this time they don't live next to me, and I sure don't want to upset my neighbors with my exhaust.

Anyway, I am not using or riding this as a daily vehicle. Recreation, trails, desert only. So I'm not to concerned with the constant noise. I'm used to a 96" EVO with drag pipes anyway. Trust me, no dirt bike will even come close to that.
