By the looks of things, I'm going to have to have my bottom end split for cleaning and inspection. The piston had a hole in it and after draining the oil I shun a flashlight into the crankcase and could see shards of the piston in there. To avoid any future problems, I'm going to just have the bottom end split by a mechanic and cleaned and inspected.
