Default Dash removal - painless?

There is a certain girlie that I know that likes to ride off road. She has a bmx background, but I know from experience that the instument panel/headlight is easily damaged in a endo. Ask me how I know.... 07 Husky te450 instrument panel pictured.

I need to figure out how to remove the easily damagable parts like the instrument panel. Turnsignals/headlight assembly/plate/mirrors no problem... What I need to know is if the bike will run without the instrument panel?

It doesnt need instrument lights to fire so you are in luck. Ignition stuff is off an entirely different loom.

Also all the brackets up there way a ton! Go a cheap polisport headlight and you will save much weight!

Yes it will run fine Just make sure you wrap all the connectors up to stop them from getting wet and corroding.
