I think those are solid tires but more off than on road. I am not sure in real world experience how folks feel about them on road however, or wear for that matter.

I would call the 270 front a good 80/20 tire.

I've been running the shinko 244's and like them alot, especially for the price! Didn't know they were rated for 75mph though... been past that quite a few times

the shinko 705 are 94 mph to 130 mph rated...shinko website rates them as 80% street and 20% dirt....other website say 75% street and 25% dirt...

H Rated (130 MPH)
Q Rated (99 MPH)
P Rated (94 MPH)

i've seen nobbies on the freeway...none really going fast, but they usually keep up with the 70 mph to 75 mph speeds...and, looks pretty stable going straight....might work out for commuting....but, i don't know how nobbies perform through turns and curves on pavement....

It depends on the size but for ours at lease one (can't remember front or rear) is rated that way.

they stick better than you think...I drug my kickstand thru a turn recently when I came in too hot and just leaned it over hoping I would make it.

Check out MEFO tires, they are a good combination of street and dirt. They are also long lasting. I got mine from twisted throttle. A little expensive but I think they are worth the money. I believe they are the explorer dual sport tires.
