not to be picky, but is it actually a 3.7 gal tank? That is the only one that comes up for acerbis for a 300 klx

It also looks like the same one in your pictures.

the picture that they give you is different than the tank i have. had for about 4yrs. so they may have redesigned it some. or wrong picture.

KAWASAKIspeed,

I ordered by Acerbis 3.7 gallon tank last week, along with the petcock and gas cap. What else is needed? Just would like to have everything on hand when I start the conversion.

Of course, I won't be able to sleep between now and whenever it gets here! I am now very, very pumped!

Sure am glad I decided to wait on the Acerbis tank! I like what I saw in their design better than the one at IMS.

When it gets it, I'll be doing a step by step posting for y'all to see what it takes to do.

Of course, from the description of "It takes no mods on a stock bike" is quite exciting! Might make the article a bit shorter!

Thanks for the excitement!

I'm stoked! [sm=gears.gif][sm=nxsmile.gif][sm=yeahsmile.gif][sm=bounceybounce.gif][sm=happy046.gif][sm=icon_cheers.gif][sm=icon_guiness.gif][sm=icon_rock.gif]

OK, do the shrouds hold most of the fuel? Run out of fuel... lay on side?
Now I'm all excited!

the tank works very well to supply fuel, never had to lay it over to get all the gas out, just ride tell empty.
